Join us on a journey through completed milestones and witness the growth of our dedicated team. This "Year in Review" encapsulates Propel Build's commitment to excellence and sets the stage for the exciting ventures that lie ahead.

Growing Our Team

As we bid farewell to 2023, it's a fitting time to reflect on Propel Build's journey and the milestones we've achieved throughout the year. In 2023, we experienced growth, marking it as a pivotal year for team engagement. Scaling up operations, we successfully tackled the most multi-family projects we’ve ever handled simultaneously, showcasing the dedication and expertise of our expanded team. From a team of three, we've grown to a dynamic group of six professionals, each contributing their unique skills and passion to our collective success. Acknowledging the achievements of each team member is at the heart of our culture, and this year has shown us the strength of collaboration within Propel Build.

Mitchell Hearn, Project Engineer at Propel Build, embarked on his construction career as a temporary labor hand in Oklahoma City, contributing to the initial demolition of the 1.1 million square foot, 33-story high-rise known as the First National Center. His rapid advancement led to a position with the General Contractor on the First National project, where he dedicated five years of valuable service. Mitchell then transitioned to the property management team for First National, undertaking the role of Facilities Inventory Supervisor. Recognized as a key contributor to the Propel Build team, Mitchell's extensive experience and expertise in construction project management make him a valuable contributor to the company's success and commitment to excellence.

Ronny's expertise in project management and construction processes, coupled with his previous experience as a Superintendent, contributes significantly to Propel Build's continued growth and achievement in the real estate industry.

A New Office Space

With all that growth, we ran out of space in our office! We were very excited to move into a new office space that allowed us room to spread out. We’re still in the historic Jefferson Tower in the heart of the Oak Cliff area in Dallas but we moved into a much larger space on the 5th floor. In addition to offices for all of our team, we also have a common area for more casual team meetings, and a conference room with a TV to facilitate meetings with investors, developers, and subcontractors.

Vertical Integration

In April of 2023, we took a step toward vertical integration with the establishment of Propel Solutions, our in-house subcontracting company. Designed to handle landscaping, fencing, small remodels, and various unskilled labor projects, Propel Solutions provides a mutually beneficial solution for both our clients and us by saving clients money and giving us more direct control over our subcontractors. We're thrilled about the positive response Propel Solutions has garnered so far and anticipate significant growth for our new company in 2024!

Progress, Progress, Progress

This exciting growth didn’t stop us from making significant progress on our project portfolio. While making strides in four multifamily projects, scheduled for completion in Q1 of this year, we successfully executed a fix-and-flip project for an investor. Additionally, we initiated the construction of a single-family home and broke ground on two other exciting multifamily projects. Our commitment to diverse projects showcases our dedication to delivering excellence across various real estate endeavors.

Future Outlook and Goals

As we set our sights on the horizon of 2024, our team is excited about the prospects that lie ahead. 2024 will see Propel Build set a revenue record for the third straight year, expand into new markets, and continue to grow our team.

Additionally, we are proud to continue our commitment to community engagement through partnerships with non-profits. Two multi-family projects with Dallas City Homes and Builders of Hope are in the pipeline, further emphasizing our dedication to affordable housing initiatives.

These ventures align with our vision of not just building structures but fostering vibrant communities and positively impacting the lives of those we serve. The future is bright, and we’re eager to embark on the exciting projects and community initiatives that await us in the coming year!
